HERE'S A GOOD RUN DOWN TO HELP US UNDERSTAND...

Let's say that you are shipping a box filled with steel bolts that is 12"x12"x12" and it weighs 50 pounds. The weight inside of this box exceeds the dimensional weight, therefore we get charged for the Actual Weight. But if you had a box that was filled with FEATHERS and measured 24"x24"x24" and only weighed 20 pounds... Well, our carriers are now going to implement a Dimensional Weight factor due to the space that the box takes as opposed to the actual weight of the box. Did you know that the Domestic Dimensional weight of that box of feathers is 84 pounds!?!? Yikes! Who comes up with this anyways? Learn more on how this box of feathers costed more to ship below! (Or we could just crush the feathers into a smaller box if you would like, because we can do that as well...)
